West Brook High School

The work for this project consisted of a complete demolition (except for the structure) and interior build-out of the existing field house and weight room building. The addition of a main lobby to serve both buildings helped to combine them into a single athletic facility. The addition to the weight room building provided extra space for the weight area and a new office area for the coaches. The training areas, lockers, showers, and classrooms were improved by enhancing and reorganizing circulation patterns within the same footprint. Additionally, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing improvements were implemented to update the field house infrastructure and efficiency.

West Brook High School in Beaumont, Texas has a field house that is used for sports and other events. The field house has a capacity of 5,000 and is the largest high school gymnasium in the state of Texas. The facility includes a basketball court, a weight room, a wrestling room, and locker rooms. It is also equipped with a high-quality sound system and video scoreboard. The West Brook High School field house has hosted a variety of events, including basketball games, volleyball games, and track and field events.
