Kim Hung Rising Mixed-Use Development

This unique proposed development is located in the EaDo sub-market, just east of Downtown Houston and within Harris County. The site is on the west frontage of Hutchins Street, between McKinney Street and Lamar Street. The Kim Hung Rising tower is a proposed vertical mixed-use development. Preliminary information reveals a development program for the Kim Hung Rising that includes a mix of studio condo units, a 170 room Hotel, and an assortment of ground floor and second floor retail uses anchored by a grocery store.

Based on the size of the site and the proposed uses, the mixed-use project is envisioned to rise to 27 stories – with ground floor/second-floor commercial and three stories of parking providing the foundation for seven floors of hotel uses and twenty-two stories of condos, resulting in a project of 353,712 gross floor area.
