HISD – Felix Cook Elementary

The project entails the design and development of an 850-student elementary school, adhering to the Elementary School Educational Specifications prepared by HISD and dated April 2003. The design incorporates academic and specialized classrooms to accommodate Pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade instructional programs. Additionally, it includes academic and specialized classrooms for special education programs, a media/resource center, food preparation, and serving areas to support a commons, a dining area, administrative offices with support spaces, health, and medical services, physical education areas, art studios, music classrooms, science and technology laboratories, toilet facilities for students, adults, and staff, as well as custodial and maintenance spaces.
