Harris Health System’s El Franco Lee Health Center meets the City’s need for more accessible health care for residents of the Alief community and southwest Houston by providing essential medical services. The two-story facility features nine medical specialties, 73 exam and procedure rooms, three family practice suites and offers on-site optometry, pharmacy, podiatry, psychiatry and radiology services; nutrition and health education; behavioral counseling; spiritual care and other social services. STOA’s philosophy for healthcare design emphasizes clear, functional circulation with a clean and direct aesthetic that creates an uplifting environment not only for patients and their families but also for the medical professionals providing care. The highly flexible design has 46,000 SF of shell space to accommodate for future growth.
